The Mid-American Conference team clinches the series ahead of Sunday's weekend finale. The Blue Raiders meanwhile fall to 6-5 and 5-3 on the Murfreesboro campus.

Starting pitcher Jaden Hamm entered the day with a 2-0 recorded and a a 1.38 ERA. The right-hander from Culleoka, Tenn. started the day strong, allowing just three baserunners in the opening four frames.
