DENTON, Texas - Middle Tennessee put together a complete outing on the road with all three aspects of the game coming into play in a dominant 30-13 victory at North Texas on Saturday.
The Blue Raiders improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in C-USA with a dominant defensive effort, strong special teams and another solid offensive demonstration. Middle Tennessee is off to its best start during the Rick Stockstill era. It's the best five-game start since the 2001 Blue Raiders opened 5-0 on their way to an eight-win season.
It was one of the most complete and dominant defensive showings recently.
