MTSU baseball salvages series against ODU

Middle Tennessee took out a weekend's worth of frustration on surging Old Dominion, belting five home runs and nine extra-base hits on the way to a 17-6 win at Reese Smith Field Jr. Field Sunday.

It marked the first time Middle Tennessee (15-17, 4-8) had five or more home runs in a game since the 2008 Blue Raiders hit six against UALR.

Aaron Auker's eturn to the lineup from injury this weekend ignited the lineup. Aucker was 2-for-4 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored Sunday, but his bat was not the most potent in the lineup Sunday.
