MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Build Blue, Middle Tennessee State University's ambitious fundraising campaign to transform its athletics facilities, has raised $20.5 million, surpassing its initial $15 million goal and nearing its new target of $25 million.
Launched in November 2021, Build Blue will ultimately surpass $100 million in construction costs. With the $20.5 million in private fundraising secured thus far, the total generated for this campaign has surpassed $93 million. Fundraising for these critical projects is ongoing.
The next phase of Build Blue has begun, and the campaign is now focused on raising funds for the renovation of the historic Murphy Center, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.
