MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – June 27, 2023 – 629 Day is a chance to celebrate all things Murfreesboro. To mark the occasion, Middle Tennessee State University is teaming up with Nobody Trashes Tennessee, Tennessee Department of Transportation's official litter prevention campaign, to help clean up the Stones River Greenway.
"Our student-athletes, coaches and staff are proud to be part of the MTSU community and the city of Murfreesboro," said Director of Athletics, Chris Massaro. "Coming together for this cleanup is a great way for us to give back and we are happy to partner with Nobody Trashes Tennessee to do our part.
