The No. 1 seeded Middle Tennessee Christian School Cougars showed they were deserving of the spot as they trounced the visiting East Robertson Indians 60-39 on Saturday night at home.
MTCS advanced to the semifinals and will face No. 3 seed Community, which beat No. 2 Clarksville Academy, on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Eagleville.
Center Barr Ellenberg led the Cougars in scoring with 16 points and Steven Turnham added 11 points, while Indians guard Isaac Howeth led all scorers with 19 points.
"My teammates were driving," Turnham said. "They were just helping off and they just needed help a couple of times, and I just did my job in knocking down the 3-pointer.
