MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee's home opener tomorrow against Troy is now moving from ESPN2 to ESPN. The game was previously set to appear on ESPN3/+ as part of the Conference USA television partnership then was moved to ESPNU on Sept. 1, and put on ESPN2 on Sept. 12 before the latest change to ESPN.
It will be the Blue Raiders' second all-time appearance on ESPN in the regular season and the first at home.
The Blue Raiders and Troy will play a home-and-home this season due to changes in the schedule by COVID-19.
Middle Tennessee and Troy were Sun Belt Conference rivals with the game annually billed as "The Battle for the Palladium.
