JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Middle Tennessee softball team improved to 14-6 on the season after going 1-1 on the second day of the Osprey Classic. The Blue Raider highlight of Saturday was besting Big 12 opponent Iowa State, 4-1. MT fell earlier in the day to Campbell, 1-4.
Cori Jennings got the win in the circle against the Cyclones, allowing no earned runs and just four hits.
Dani Munoz launched a two-run home run in the same game, her first of the season.

Similar to the Blue Raiders last outing against North Florida, the game versus Campbell was also a scoreless battle until the final innings.
