CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.— The Blue Raiders could not contain the Austin Peay bats, as they fall 21-8 in Clarksville Tuesday afternoon at Raymond C. Hand Park.
The Blue Raiders (3-5) fell behind 9-1 early, pulled within one run in the sixth, before the Governors (5-3) exploded offensively to close out the game.
Sophomore Drew Huff blasted the first home run of his career the second play of the game, with a shot to right center field to put MT up 1-0. Huff finished the game going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI and a triple shy of the cycle.
