MT ready for home opener against old rival

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — While many had questions as to whether or not Middle Tennessee would have a home opener in front of fans this season, that time has finally come.

After traveling to Army in Week 1, the Blue Raiders (0-1) had a rare Week 2 bye to prepare for a familiar foe, the Troy Trojans, in their home opener.

To say the Raiders are excited to play at home in front of a crowd — even if it's only at 20% capacity — would be an understatement.

"Our players have responded really well to the first week, and I like where we're at right now," head coach Rick Stockstill said.
