MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Four months after closing out the 2019 campaign with the program's third visit to the postseason, Middle Tennessee's softball team will open its fall schedule Saturday at the Columbia State Tournament.
Ridley Sports Complex in Columbia, Tennessee will be the site of MT's two games on Saturday, including a 9 a.m. start against Calhoun Community College followed by an 11 a.m. game against Motlow State.
Calhoun will be looking to improve on its 25-27-1 record from a season ago. The Lady Warhawks gave up a program record for hits and runs in a season by an opponent in the 2019 season.
