MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee earned its 15th consecutive College Team Academic Award in 2016 with a team grade point average of 3.34, as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
In order to qualify for the NSCAA award teams must carry a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the entire academic year.
The Blue Raiders have accomplished the feat in every year of Head Coach 's tenure at Middle Tennessee.
"I'm extremely proud of our team for receiving this award as it serves as an indication to our consistent commitment to the academic achievement of our student athletes," Rhoden said.
