WACO, Tex. — Middle Tennessee, along with the University of Alabama, the University of Cincinnati, Northwestern University, the University of Utah, Utah State University and the University of Virginia, will share the American Football Coaches Association's 2017 Academic Achievement Award, presented by the Touchdown Club of Memphis.
"This is a tremendous honor for our program and shows the commitment our student-athletes have both on and off the field," said Head Coach Rick Stockstill. "Academics is and will always be a top priority at Middle Tennessee."
All seven schools recorded a 100 percent graduation rate for members of its freshman football student-athlete class of 2010.
