EL PASO, Texas – Middle Tennessee's women finished second while the men's team finished fourth to close the 2017 edition of the C-USA Championships.
The Blue Raiders grabbed seven first-place finishes on the final day. Jacob Choge claimed the Freshman of the Year on the men's side, while Elizabeth Dadzie finished as the High Point Scorer of the Meet for the women.
"We got about all we could out of these athletes. We have quality without the quantity. Janet Amponsah was a double winner, Agnes Abu was a double winner and Jacob Choge was a double winner.
