NASHVILLE, Tenn. – On the final day of the Vanderbilt Invitational, Middle Tennessee captured six finishes in the top five at the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility.
On the women's side, Agnes Abu claimed the highest finish for the Blue Raiders, placing second in the 800 meter. Abu raced to second with a personal-best time of 2:08.91. Teammate Shaina Johnson finished 18 in 2:25.97.
Abu and Johnson along with Taylor Day and Loveth Odia claimed fourth in the 4x400-meter relay, finishing in 3:47.31.
In the 3,000, three Blue Raiders finished in the top 10 with Josphine Kiptebeny leading the way with her third-place finish in 9:42.
