MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee Men's Tennis team was awarded by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association with three postseason awards announced Monday.
Tom Moonen was named the Ohio Valley Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship and the Rafael Osuna Sportsmanship awards. It is the second straight year that Moonen has swept the two sportsmanship awards.
ITA Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship award - This prestigious award, which dates back to 1982, is presented to the men's and women's national student-athletes who have exhibited outstanding sportsmanship and leadership, as well as scholastic, extracurricular and tennis achievements.
