MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The final day of the Conference USA Outdoor Championships concluded with multiple Blue Raiders reaching the podium and setting personal bests across several events.
Picking up where he left off Saturday night, Carmelo Cannizzaro earned another podium finish with a first-place performance in the 1,500-meter run. He crossed the finish line alongside teammates Allan Kiplagat and Mackdonald Songok, who took second and third, respectively.
Tamia Waters continued her strong showing in the women's 100-meter hurdles. After setting a personal best on the first day of the championships, Waters secured third place in Sunday's final.
