HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – The Blue Raiders fell in game two against Marshall 9-1 on Saturday at Dot Hicks Field.
The Blue Raiders got things started early in the first. Sophomore drew a leadoff walk to get MT's first baserunner aboard. Following a lineout, Mealer drew another walk for the Blue Raiders in her first at-bat of the day, putting two on and moving Harris into scoring position. Freshman followed Mealer, connecting on the first pitch she faced, knocking it up the middle to bring around Harris and give the Blue Raiders the opening 1-0 lead.
