MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — After being the top-seeded team in an NCAA Regional and a final ranking of No. 20 last season, Middle Tennessee men's tennis will start the 2023 spring campaign with the highest preseason ranking in program history.
MTSU was named the No. 25 team in the nation according to the preseason ranking announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Wednesday. This ranking is a coaches' poll and is sponsored by Tennis-Point.
"We appreciate this ranking from the coaches that vote for this," said MTSU Head Coach Jimmy Borendame. "But, we are starting fresh and this is a new team.
