MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Following two consecutive years of top-25 recruiting classes, Middle Tennessee men's tennis head coach Jimmy Borendame will bring in true freshman Chris Edge and transfer Jan Porteset for the 2018 squad.
"This is going to be a major upgrade in our doubles. Jan is a top-five player in Division II, and he's a vocal leader on his team at Armstrong State," Borendame said of his class. "Chris is a tall lefty, and I'm expecting both of those guys to have an impact right away in doubles. I'm very excited about these two guys coming in to join an already solid team.
