SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Middle Tennessee women's golf placed seventh at UTSA's Maryb S. Kauth Invitational at San Antonio Country Club this week. The Blue Raiders combined for a third-round score of 319 (+31) Tuesday and wrapped up the event with a sore of 919 (+55) on the par 72, 6,131-yard course at San Antonio Country Club.
Every team in the field recorded its highest score of the tournament Tuesday as winds in the Texas hill country were 15 miles per hour at the start of the round and only got stronger throughout the day.
"It was pretty tough conditions today with 30 mile per hour winds, but we definitely left some shots out there," head coach Chris Adams said.
