MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Every day when he rolls out of bed, Matt Martin stretches his legs, working out the kinks from the previous day's football practice.
The redshirt junior offensive lineman's knees need a little extra attention. Years of wear and tear, including a couple of torn ACLs, have made it slightly tougher to have a spring in his step every morning.
"No kidding, the mornings can be tough," he said through a grin. "But, it's just another obstacle in the way."
Down the hall in the rental house is Martin's roommate, fellow redshirt junior lineman Will Gilchrist.
