MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee was anticipating having its second bye of the season this week, but thanks to a game cancellation, it'll instead travel to UTSA for a Friday night contest.
The Roadrunners (2-0) were supposed to host Memphis, but the Tigers had to cancel because of COVID-19 concerns. That created an opportunity for the Blue Raiders (0-2) to step in for their first Conference USA matchup of the season.
"This game just got finalized over the weekend, but we're excited to play it and anxious to get into conference play," MT head coach Rick Stockstill said.
