MURFREESBORO - The Murfreesboro area is pumping out high school athletics talent at a high rate.
Thanks to Middle Tennessee's welcoming, family atmosphere and community involvement with Murfreesboro residents, a lot of that talent is staying home and embracing MT's Our Town, Our Team motto in order to accomplish big things as Blue Raiders.
"When I made my decision, my main thing was to do something special here for this community and this university," rising redshirt sophomore football quarterback Brent Stockstill (Siegel graduate) said. "This community had a huge involvement in what I wanted to do, and my main goal is to still do something special for this community and bring something here to Murfreesboro.
