MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The 2017 All-Conference USA football teams and honorable mentions were announced by the conference office Tuesday, and two Middle Tennessee sophomores were placed on the second team while two more freshmen were named to the all-freshman team. Eight players were named honorable mention.

Sophomore wide receiver Ty Lee and redshirt sophomore linebacker Khalil Brooks were both placed on the all-conference second team, while freshmen defenders Reed Blankenship and Jordan Ferguson were named all-freshman.

Lee, who had a stellar freshman season that saw him land on the FWAA Freshman All-American team in 2016, was the Blue Raiders' most consistent receiver all season with team highs in catches (74), receiving yards (916) and receiving touchdowns (five).
