MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee started strong and coasted to an 89-34 win against Tennessee Wesleyan in an exhibition game at Murphy Center Sunday afternoon.
Lady Raider Head Coach Rick Insell was pleased with how the team started and played into the second half; however, he would have liked to seen his team finish better against the Bulldogs.
"Overall, there were some good things, but we also have a lot to work on and improve upon," Insell said. "We started pretty good, but we didn't maintain that throughout the second half.
