MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee defeated LA Tech 79-58 on Saturday morning at the Murphy Center. With the win, the 2023-24 squad became just the fourth team in Conference USA and program history to go undefeated in league play.
The Lady Raiders (26-4, 16-0 CUSA) and Lady Techsters (13-18, 7-9 CUSA) were in a low-scoring battle right out of the gate. MTSU held LA Tech to just two field goals in the opening quarter and used a 10-0 run to take a 19-6 lead into the second period. In the second, the Lady Raiders extended their lead to 17 points at the midway mark.
