CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Middle Tennessee will tip off the 2016-17 campaign against the first of three ACC foes on its non-conference schedule when it faces Virginia Friday at 6 p.m.
The game will be broadcast on WMOT 89.5-FM with the Voice of the Lady Raiders, Dick Palmer, on the call.
Middle Tennessee returns four starters and eight letterwinners from its 2015-16 C-USA Championship squad, but veteran Head Coach knows his team will be in for quite a challenge in its opener.
"Virginia is a quality opponent and it will be a tough road challenge but that's what you want," Insell said.
