It's safe to say that second-year Riverdale head coach Will Kriesky had a successful debut season in 2016. The Riverdale Warriors finished with an 8-5 record, losing to Hardin Valley in the second round of the TSSAA state playoffs.
If Riverdale is to take the next step, Kriesky's success will be somewhat predicated on his quarterback Christian Souffront, also looking to show improvement in his second year as a starter.
"Christian has looked all right," Kriesky said last week during the Riverdale 7-on-7 Challenge. "He's working hard, making good throws and making better decisions. That's what it's all about.
