While most of Rutherford County football teams will be on vacation this week, it will be business as usual for No. 1 ranked Oakland.
The Patriots will go for their seventh consecutive win Friday night when they play at Franklin in the Kia of Murfreesboro Game of the Week.
Only La Vergne, which plays host to Wilson Central, is playing as the remaining seven county teams are off for Fall Break.
"We feel like we're really lucky to have something going on during Fall Break," Oakland coach Kevin Creasy said. "We don't have school, so we can focus on football and it can be a football week.
