MURFREESBORO, TENN.— Over the past week, there's been a lot of players that you could say are on a hot streak for the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raider (19-6) softball team. You might argue that there's none that's been more impressive over the past week than tonight's starting pitcher: Kamryn Carcich. A lot of people might agree with you on that, even given the fact that the Blue Raiders have swung the bats as well as some of the best teams in the country of late.
But tonight, it was once again a stellar performance out of Carcich, who delivered with a three-hit shutout to give the right-hander shutouts in back-to-back games in MTSU's 3-0 win over the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks (10-7).
