MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee sophomore standout has been named C-USA Co-Player of the Week after producing the third-highest scoring output in a league game this season with 37 against Florida Atlantic Saturday.
Johnson, who is second in scoring in C-USA with 19.4 points per game, helped lead Middle Tennessee to a pair of wins last week as they remained in a three-way tie atop the league standings.
"Alex had an outstanding week, but she has been pretty consistent throughout the season," Lady Raider Head Coach said. "Part of our strategy is getting the ball inside to Alex and she has been doing a good job finishing.
