DALLAS - Kevin Jegers has been named the Conference USA Men's Golf Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Thursday. Jegers tied for ninth while helping lead Middle Tennessee to victory at the Daniel Island Intercollegiate with a score of 213 (-3) to close out the fall season.
Jegers' first-round score of 66 (-6) was the second-lowest round of the fall by a Blue Raider. He finished the tournament with a season-high 14 birdies, tying for the most among the 96-player field. Jegers' 54-hole score of 213 was his lowest of the season, as he tied with teammate Michael Barnard for the team's lowest score.
