DALLAS - Kevin Jegers has been named Conference USA Co-Player of the Week, as anounced by the conference office today. The Tallinn, Estonia, native is coming off a win at Southern Utah's Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational.
Jegers set a Blue Raider record with a 54-hole score of 201 (-15) during the three-day event at Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, Utah. He carded eight birdies and 12 pars Sunday to finish the third round at 64 (-8), coming one stroke shy of the program record for the lowest single round. His 20 birdies in the tournament led the field, with the next-closest competitors recording 15 each.
