DALLAS - Middle Tennessee's Kevin Jegers has been named the Conference USA Men's Golf Player of the Week for the second week in a row. The Blue Raider sophomore broke his own nine-day-old program record with a 54-hole score of 200 (-16) to win the Loyola Intercollegiate at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
The win was Jegers' second in as many tournaments this spring. After starting the third round strong with birdies on each of his first three holes, Jegers carded his lowest round of the tournament Tuesday with a 65 (-7), the lowest round of any individual in the tournament.
