DALLAS (FWAA) – Middle Tennessee's saw his banner season continue on Monday as he was named to the prestigious Football Writers Association of America Freshman All-America Team. It marks the third Freshman All-America team for James this season joining USA Today and Athlon Sports.
James becomes just the second player in MT history to earn FWAA Freshman All-America honors. Safety earned the honor in 2012.
"I am humbled to receive this honor," said James. "I just want to thank God, my coaches, teammates, and all of the staff members who contributed to my success this season.
