Jackson earns C-USA All-Freshman Team honors

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Conference USA announced its 2020 All-Conference, All-Defensive and All-Freshman Teams Monday afternoon with Middle Tennessee rookie Tyson Jackson representing the Blue Raiders on the All-Freshman Team.

Jackson's first campaign in Murfreesboro saw him earn 22 starts and play in all 31 contests for the Blue Raiders, averaging 5.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in just over 20 minutes per outing while also serving as MT's first sub in five of his nine appearances off the bench.

His team-leading 21 blocks make him the first Blue Raider freshman to lead the team in blocks since Alex Weekes (25) did so in 2004.
