MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – 's tennis career is continuing in the Midstate, as she won the Nashville Shores Women's $25K Pre Qualifier recently, earning a wild card spot into the Qualifying tournament in November.
"I hit with [MT assistant coach] quite a bit and kept up the fitness by doing some running, which is a big part of tennis," Huxley said about her training regimen. "It's been relaxed, but I'm still keeping up with everything."
Huxley was dominant early in the tournament, as she didn't give up a game through the first three sets.
