EAGLEVILLE -- In a battle for second place in District 9-A Huntland edged out Eagleville 64-55 on Tuesday night in the Kia of Murfreesboro Game of the Week.
It was a game that was actually very sloppy at times but the intensity and physicality of both teams kept the game exciting.
"This one was huge for us," said Huntland coach Sean McLennan. "It gives us a shot a second for sure if we continue to play like we're playing. Any district win is important for us obviously, but this one was big because of seeding and positioning or the district tournament.
