The annual Rutherford County football jamboree will not be held this year, but football fans will still be able to whet their appetite this Friday night.
Riverdale will travel to Stewarts Creek on Friday for a unique jamboree that will feature a quarter each of youth teams, freshmen, junior varsity and varsity teams.
"We'll start at 5 o'clock and we've got five 30-minute junior pro games, and then the freshmen will play about 8 o'clock," said Stewarts Creek coach David Martin. "Then the junior varsity and varsity will play behind that.
"It will be a combined scored.
