MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee guard Jalynn Gregory has been named the Conference USA Freshman of the Week after helping lead the Lady Raiders to two wins in a three-day span during the weekend.
Gregory averaged 10.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals, while shooting 46 percent from three-point range in wins vs. Mercer and Lipscomb.
"Jalynn has had a good start to her college career and she had two strong games to impact our wins this weekend," Lady Raider Head Coach Rick Insell said. "Jalynn is a strong all-around player with a good work ethic and it shows in her play.
