MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Sophomore Sana Garakani was named Conference USA November Athlete of the Month announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
"Congrats to Sana for receiving this acknowledgment," said MTSU Head Coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall. "Sana has been working hard on and off the court and it is well deserved. She is Blue Raider tough and I hope her talent and passion will continue to be acknowledged by the conference."
Garakani competed at the CSUN Fall Invite in Los Angeles, Calif. On day two, the sophomore defeated Sasha Turcmak (CSUN) 6-4, 6-3.
