HOUSTON, Texas – Four Blue Raiders claimed top-finishes during the final day of the C-USA Championships in their respective events.
Abike Egbeniyi inked the championship title in the women's 800-meter event. Egbeniyi crossed the line at 2:04.91 to record a new Conference USA Championship record in the event.
Simiarly, Edidiong Odiong notched a gold medal finish in the women's 200-meter event with a time of 23.14. Meanwhile, Pamela Kosgei claimed the first place finish the the 5,000-meter event crossing the line at 17:08.00.
On the field, Isaac Odugbesan claimed the C-USA Champion title in the men's shot put event recording a distance of 18.
