MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Assistant Softball Coach has been named by the Greek Softball Federation as the National Team Head Coach for the European Championship and world championship qualifier. The tournament will be held in Italy from June 25 to July 1, 2017.
Foti will be joined by assistant coaches in the tournament, Angel Santiago and Shane Showalter. Santiago is currently in his sixth season as the head coach at Nicholls State and Showalter is in his second season at the helm of Austin Peay.
"I am honored with the Greek Softball Federation and president Kostis' trust and selection to coach the Greek Women's National Team for the 2016 European Championships and world championship qualifier," said Foti.
