BOCA RATON, Fla. – For the second consecutive game, Middle Tennessee Baseball surrendered an early lead to the Florida Atlantic Owls at FAU Baseball Stadium.
Jumping ahead 2-0 after three innings, the Blue Raiders gave up __ unanswered runs on Saturday afternoon. FAU clinches the three-game, Conference USA series with the decision, and MTSU falls to 11-11 and 2-3 in league play.
The Raiders drew first blood when 2B JT Mabry singled to the shortstop and brought home DJ Wright in the second inning. An inning later, Jackson Galloway poked a two-out single to left and scored Brett Coker.
