MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Just when you started to wonder what more could do to amaze, she goes out and plays one of her best all-around games.
Edwards poured in a career-high 31 points on the strength of a season-high six 3-pointers, one shy of her career high, to lead Middle Tennessee to a 68-57 win against visiting Louisiana Tech in front of 3,316 at Murphy Center. The senior guard also produced her fifth double-double of the season with 11 rebounds.
The Blue Raiders (16-7, 10-2) won their seventh straight game and remained one game behind C-USA leader UTEP for the top spot in the league race.
