EAGLEVILLE -- Community (1-3, 0-1) put together a second-half rally against Eagleville (4-1, 2-1) on Friday night, but the Eagles nevertheless pulled out a 34-22 victory.
The Eagles held the lead for the entirety of the matchup, but three consecutive scores by the Vikings made for an interesting second half.
Eagleville's offense was clicking on all cylinders, scoring on all three drives of the first half. Junior quarterback Ethan Cobb accounted for all three, including a 2-yard score near the end of the first quarter.
Cobb also completed a 16-yard touchdown pass to junior wideout Avery Sparks midway through the second quarter.
