EAGLVILLE -- Eagleville improved to 2-0 Friday night after defeating the Cornersville (1-1) Bulldogs 31-6 behind the arm of Junior quarterback Ethan Cobb.
Cobb led Eagleville with 123 rushing yards on 13 carries, while also adding 159 yards passing on 16 of 17 for three touchdowns.
"He is a really good player," Eagleville coach Floyd Walker said. "I'll take him over any player in the midstate."
Eagleville dominated the game from the opening kickoff, forcing a three-and-out. The Eagles then scored on their first two drives of the game with a 10-yard rushing touchdown from junior running back Josh Stout, followed by a 37-yard touchdown from Cobb to senior receiver Graham Hatcher.
