DePriest's Overtime Goal Gives MT Win over Rice

MURFREESBORO, Tenn – In the second overtime period, Middle Tennessee's (6-2-1) Peyton DePriest hustled after a loose ball and drove a shot past the goalkeeper to lead the Blue Raiders past Rice (2-5-0) by a score of 3-2. Prior to that, the teams had been tied since the 66^th minute when Rice found an equalizer just 5 minutes after DePriest gave MT its first lead of the game. This is the first overtime win in the 2018 season for the Blue Raiders and their first since October 1^st of 2017, when DePriest also had the game winner over FIU.
