MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Freshman phenom Peyton DePriest has been called up to participate in Women's National Team training camp, U.S. Soccer and Coach Jamie Frias announced on Tuesday. DePriest will be training with the U-18 group from February 10-17 in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
DePriest will join 47 other athletes from the U-18 and U-19 ranks. In the weeklong camp, players will train in hopes of receiving a future call up to join the U-20 team at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in France this coming August.
"I'm very nervous but also excited to get the opportunity to train with the national team," said DePriest.
